This explains what JobInAWeek does with your information, in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we keep

• Your email address and mobile number, to sign you in, send your matches and help you recover your account. If you sign in with Google we receive your name, email and a Google account id; never your password.
• Your name, the role you want, experience, city, expected pay and skills.
• Which jobs we showed you and what you did with them (applied, hidden, clicked).

If you upload a resume or LinkedIn PDF, we read it once to fill in your profile and then throw the file away. What you write in the resume builder is saved to your account so you can edit it later; it's private unless you turn on your public profile link.

Payments for JobInAWeek Pro are handled by Razorpay. We keep your plan status and Razorpay's payment ids, never your card or UPI details.

What we use it for

Only to match you with jobs and email you those matches. We don't sell your data or share it with employers.

To read job posts and resumes, we may send their text to our AI provider (Anthropic) for processing. It is not used to train their models.

Your choices

• Stop emails any time with the link in every email, or from your profile.
• Change your details from your profile.
• Delete your account from your profile. This removes your profile and match history.
